I'm Gemma, a wedding photographer based in Cheshire. A mummy, a fiancée, and I have loved the art of photography for as long as I can remember!

I love to travel when I can and make memories with my own family as much as possible, as that to me is what life is all about! I like to think my enthusiasm for life spills into my work, I come to each wedding with 110%, bringing the good vibe energy and make sure that you have the best day ever!

I think I'm pretty easy going and super friendly and will treat your friends and family like my own. It's important when choosing your photographer to chose someone not purely based on their photos (that does help to start with!) but that you get along with them too as we are with you all day.

I honestly adore being a wedding photographer and capturing real, authentic moments it what it is all about for me. I love the whole process and like to see it through myself and personally edit each picture for you, a lot of time, care, effort and love goes into every wedding I do.

It's my unwavering belief that your wedding day is about you, not me. I understand that you deserve to revel in every joyous moment of your celebration, and it is my mission to ensure you spend less time posing and more time celebrating with your friends and family!

My approach to photography is natural, candid, and all about capturing people having an awesome time! I believe in creating a visual story of your day, one that unfolds effortlessly without the need for staged moments. I do however think it's important to get some 'official' family, bridal party and couple photos but they can be done effortlessly, natural and don't need to take you away for hours on end. Your wedding day is a celebration, and I want you to feel free to dance, laugh, and enjoy every precious moment. No standing in lines for hours – just pure, unadulterated fun while I work my magic in the background, ensuring that each photograph is a genuine reflection of the joy and connection shared by you and your loved ones.

How did you get into photography?

I actually studied Film and TV media as that was what I thought I wanted to get into, there was a very small amount of photography covered in the course which caught my love and attention the most so I decided to follow that route! I had various jobs whilst deciding if it was what I wanted to do, I started with family photos and shot my first wedding on NYE 2014 and completely fell in love with all aspects of wedding photography and haven't looked back since! I keep myself current and up to date with the latest gear and techniques and am constantly learning and evolving!

How Long will you be with us on the day?

I am super flexible! I will be with you as early as you want me until I have captured as much as physically possible for you to tell your story. As a guide at least 3 hours before ceremony will give a great amount of time to capture your venue before your guests arrive and all your prep, wether that be just bridal or groom too! I don't leave as soon as that last note of your first dance has ended I want to stay and capture some party shots for you too as this is all part of your story! There does get to a point of the evening where it might be the same people on the dance floor and so to avoid lots of duplicate shots I will just come and check you are happy with everything before leaving you to it, to party into the night with your friends and family!

How many photos will we get?

There is no limit on the amount of photos you get, depending on your ceremony time you can be getting anywhere between 500-1000+ photos, you get everything in the colour version and then if the image suits you will also get a black and white version too, I would always apply this for all the ceremony, couple, bridal party and family shots and anything else which suits.

How long do we have to wait to see our images?

You will get your sneak peak photos through within 24-48 hours after your wedding day! This will be a quick selection of snippets throughout your day which you can download, post, share, print and show off to the world that you are now married! The full collection during busy periods can be between 8-12 weeks, you will always get them as soon as they are ready for you!

How do we get our photos?

Your photos are beautifully put together in your own online gallery which is password protected so you can keep to yourself or share with your friends and families! Once the full collection is ready you will also receive a gorgeous presentation box which contains a personalised USB with your names on and a selection of prints from your day, along with the online gallery. The world is going online only nowadays but I still think its nice to have a physical product too, especially one as gorgeous as this!

How do we book?

Super easy! Just drop me a message with your date, venue and any other information you think I need to know, I will get back to you asap with my availability and send over a deposit invoice and contract for you. Dates are blocked out for you once the deposit has been made and the contract has been signed, any new enquires for the date would then be politely turned away. You can do that by clicking here!
